A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Mir-a-Boteh area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of cream, orange-red, black, blue, mustard, and fawn. The field is patterned with an all over mir-a-boteh pattern and it is framed with triangle meander boteh scroll pattern borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
