Item Details
A finely hand-knotted Indo-Persian mir-a-boteh wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, indigo, scarlet, wheat, camel, teal, coral, saffron, and sky blue. The ivory colored field features an ornately designed all-over boteh lattice, while framed in a main boteh and curled leaf border, along with a pair of Hamadan guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
