A hand-knotted Persian Isfahan silk area rug. This rug is finely hand-knotted in a palette of sky blue, cream, mustard, navy, fawn, and espresso. It has a circular shaped medallion with two pendants on a field patterned with lancet leaves, curvilinear vines, and palmettes. It is framed with floral meander guard borders and a herati pattern main border.Finished with overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe to either end. Unmarked.
