An oil painting on canvas attributed to the verso to a Spanish artist Jerónimo G. in the manny of Flemish artist Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641). This portrait depicts an Elizabethan-era woman wearing a feathered hat, neck ruffle, and dark blue robe and holding a rose. The work is unsigned and has a handwritten attribution to the verso. It is presented in a painted wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging and a gallery light mounted to the top.

- craquelure and small chips to paint; canvas damaged, coming loose from frame; colors darkened; accretion to surface; gallery light crooked.
