Vintage Jofco Mid Century Modern Walnut Executive Desk
Item Details
A vintage Mid Century Modern walnut executive desk by Jofco. This desk has a rectangular top with straight sides and rounded corners, featuring a center knee hole opening with a drawer just above, with a divided tray insert, and it is flanked by a pair of pull-out shelves, with a file drawer on the left and more drawers on the right, fitted with rectangular brass pulls. The drawers are made of solid wood with dovetail joints, and the file drawer is also fitted with metal tracks and metal wire for hanging files. The sides and back are finished with recessed walnut panels, and the desk rests on short, round, brass-trimmed tapered legs with round metal feet. An interior drawer is marked ‘jofco – Makers of Fine Wood Office Furniture – Jasper, Indiana’.
