A hand-knotted Indian Tibetan wool area rug. The rug has been worked in abrash shades of honey, amber, olive, cinnamon, sage, rust, and wine. The pattern features a honey tone field with a grid of squares and rectangles. Some of the square blocks are infilled with concentric squares in varying color combinations. The transitions between the colors have been trimmed to create visual interest. The selvedges and ends are overcast.
