Vintage Bone and Bamboo Mah Jongg Set in Wood Case with Bone Inlay

A vintage mah jongg bone and bamboo set in a wood and bone inlay carrying case. The case features a metal handle to the top with sunburst style bails. The top, sides and drawer fronts each feature foliate and floral style bone inlay throughout. The set includes five sliding drawers, each finished with a round wooden pull. The case features mortise and tenon joinery. The set includes over 136 bone and bamboo tiles, including suited tiles, honor tiles, flower tiles, joker tiles and blank tiles. The collection also includes a drawer of four compartments with counting sticks, five die, and other accessories.
Condition
- light wear noted throughout, some discoloration to the tiles noted; some chips and missing inlay on the case noted, a crack at the back of the case noted; some chips in the wood to the front of the case
