1763 English Sterling Silver Creamer
Item Details
A 1763 English sterling silver creamer. The creamer features a scalloped edge and spout, flying scroll handle and floral and scroll repoussé detailing to the body. The creamer rests on a round pedestal foot with gadrooned edge and is marked to the underside with hallmarks for sterling, the city of London and the date letter for 1763. There is also a partial maker’s mark that appears to read ‘W•K’ and could be for William Kersil of London, England. The total approximate weight is 5.050 ozt.
