A hand-knotted Caucasian Shirvan wool area rug. This rug features two Lesghi star medallions in a palette of apricot, blue, ecru, and deep indigo. It has a stepped diamond secondary border and leaf and calyx main border with an ecru ground. The rug is finished in an apricot and blue kilim skirt with a natural warp fringe, and triple overcast selvedges. Unlabeled.
