Item Details
A hand-knotted Caucasian Kazak wool area rug. This carved rug features a triple hooked medallion motif in a palette of dark royal blue, brick red, sage, and a variegated yellow-green. Framing the field is a unique quatrefoil petal meander, along with an arrowhead patterned guard border, and kochak crosses to elem panels at each end. Finishing this rug are triple overcast selvedges and a braided warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
