A hand-tufted Chinese Persian Splendor wool area rug. The circular rug features a Persian-inspired design worked in shades of cinnabar, rose, peach, blush, olive, sage, amber, gray, ivory, and black. A large floral pendant medallion is surrounded by palmettes, blooming flowers, leaves, and scrolling vines. Narrow floral guard borders flank a wide herati primary border. The carpet has been backed in woven fabric and has a sticker label affixed to the underside.
