A color photograph of lilies by New York artist Louis Papp (born 1930), dated to the late 20th-century. The nocturnal work depicts a closely cropped view of the bulbous plant. Not signed by the artist. Housed in a metal frame under white matting and acrylic glass.

Louis Papp was a New York based artist known for his abstract, mixed media paintings. He was also a member of the Art Students League, a renowned and respected art school headquartered in Manhattan in the 1970’s and 80’s.

Condition

- minor scratches and scuffing to the white finish on the frame.
