A sepia-toned analog photograph of roses by New York artist Louis Papp (1930), dated to the 20th-century. The work depicts a pair of blooming buds. Unsigned by the artist. Housed in a wood frame under matting and acrylic glass.

Louis Papp was a New York based artist known for his abstract, mixed media paintings. He was also a member of the Art Students League, a renowned and respected art school headquartered in Manhattan in the 1970’s and 80’s.
