Antique French Chest of Drawers

An antique French chest of drawers. This rectangular, pink hued marble top chest overhangs a walnut case. The chest features two aligned drawers above three full width, stacked drawers. The dovetail joinery drawers feature panel molding, decorative brass plates with handles, and escutcheons. The drawers are flanked by reeded stiles. This piece terminates on bun feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- some splits to drawer bottom; some nicks and dings to wood; minor scratching to marble top; dust present.
