Bronze Sculpture After Frederic Remington's "Coming Through the Rye"

A bronze sculpture after Frederic Remington’s (1861-1909) 1902 piece Coming Through the Rye. This work depicts a line of cowboys on horseback with their guns in the air and features an in-mold signature to one edge of the base. The piece is presented on a marble plinth with a plaque bearing the title, spelled Coming Thru the Rye, and artist’s name toward its front edge.
Tested as 3.48% Iron, 1.79% Zinc and 93.61% Copper.

Condition
- heavy wear to cowboy’s faces; wear to patina on whip at left side; oxidation on reigns at right side; scuff marks along stone base; debris on felt liner beneath base.
