Pair of Murano Style Aventurine Glass Bowls
Item Details
A pair of bowls in the style of Murano glass. Included is a cased ivory bowl rendered with a lobed rim which curls outward to create a floriform shape. It is swirled with gold aventurine flecks and finished with a white lip wrap. It is accompanied by a centerpiece bowl with a pinched, diamond shaped rim. This vessel is swirled with copper aventurine flecks on a black ground and rests on a round base. The pieces bear no discernible maker’s marks.
Condition
- minor marks and faint scratches; scuffs to base, especially on larger, black bowl.
