A vintage watercolor painting on paper by listed New Orleans artist Nestor Fruge (1916-2012). This piece depicts a New Orleans street scene in the fading light of evening, warm glow emanating from windows and doorways on a street lined with clay tile-roofed buildings overgrown with ivy and other plants. It is signed and dated 1977 to the lower right and presented behind a mat and glass in a wooden frame with a gold tone sight edge and wire to the verso for hanging.

- marks to outer edges of mat; scratches and marks throughout frame; item somewhat loose in frame with tape to verso.
