John Ruthven Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "Shawnee"

A limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a painting titled Shawnee by well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924). The print depicts a Shawnee American Indian leaning over a rock in a snowy landscape to hunt as a dead goose lies near him. It is signed and dated within the plate to the lower right and is numbered 756 out of an edition of 3000 to the lower left margin. The title is printed to the lower center margin. The work is presented behind a gray mat with a brown liner, under glass, in a stained wood frame with a gold-tone wash. It is ready to hang with a wire.

- light toning to print and mat. Minor wear to frame finish.
