A finely hand-knotted Sino-Persian Tabriz wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, silver, wheat, rose, hunter, gold, carnation, cranberry, sage, burnt orange, and slate. The ornately designed ivory colored field features a rose theme beginning with a central medallion, along with curled leaves, and floral sprays. There is also an interior border grounded in silver with coordinating elements, along with added medallions. Framing the field is a main ivory grounded bouquet and scrolling leaf patterned border, as well as guard borders in a mimicking design. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
