A hand-knotted Persian Karaja Heriz wool area rug. This rug features rectilinear tribal patterns inside of a stepped medallion in a palette of ivory, indigo, red, light peach, olive, and slate. It has a sawtooth edge in deep indigo and slate grey with rectilinear patterns in matching colors, and a mosul main border grounded in ivory. Natural warp fringe to either end with a label to the reverse which reads, ‘Made in Iran Hand Woven’.
