Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bijar wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of black, ivory, sand, cream, terracotta, gold, and lavender. The field features an allover herati design that flows over the black grounded lozenge, as well as the coordinating layered ogee shaped pendant medallion, and coordinating spandrels. Framing the field is a black grounded stylized herati main border, along with floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
