Peruvian and Florentine Style Serving Trays

Item Details

A pairing of wood serving trays featuring a hand-painted Florentine style tray with an ornate carved floral and scroll design in shades of orange and golden yellow and a checked pattern of wavy lines to the underside. It has no visible maker’s mark. Also included is a Peruvian tray with an Inca inspired geometrical and animal design in red plastic with two pierced handles to the wood frame. It is marked ‘Artesanias Peruanas Chavin/Lima Peru’ to label.

- wear to paint of circular tray, scratches to underside; marks to Peruvian tray, discoloration to underside.
