A signed and numbered limited edition offset lithograph print after an original painting by American artist John Stobart (1929-), titled, The Statue of Liberty in a Panorama of New York Harbor in 1886. The image depicts a view from the bow of a ship sailing into the harbor on a calm morning, the sailors aboard stand in awe beholding the monumental Statue of Liberty. In the distance, the Brooklyn Bridge looms through the haze. Artist signature and date are printed in plate to the lower right. The print is marked in pencil to the lower right margin edition 699 of 950, and artist signature is hand-signed in pencil just below. The title is printed across lower center margin. Just below plate, landmarks are identified. The print is professionally double-matted in light cream and blue, protected under glass, in a beveled wood frame with gilt borders. Wired to the back and purchased from Row House Gallery in Milford, Ohio.
