A sterling silver flatware set by Wallace. This is in the Shenandoah pattern, first introduced in 1966, which features a flared handle with a flower and acanthus leaf patterned edges. The forty-piece set includes eight salad forks, eight dinner forks, eight teaspoons, and eight place spoons, all marked ‘Wallace Sterling’ and ‘Shenandoah’ to the backs of the handles.They are presented with eight dinner knives that have stainless blades and sterling hollow handles. The total approximate weight, excluding dinner knives with stainless blades, is 41.405 ozt.
