Howard Bradford 1978 Serigraphs "Floral #1" and "Floral "#2"

A pair of limited edition serigraphs on paper titled Floral #1 and Floral #2, created in 1978 by listed painter and printmaker Howard Bradford (Canadian-American, 1919 – 2008). Each piece depicts a floral still life rendered in a vibrant palette of yellow, orange, blue, green and brown hues. Each work is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right and titled to the lower center. Floral #1 is numbered as 6 out of an edition of 75, and Floral #2 is numbered as 3 out of an edition of 75. The prints are presented unframed under layered matting; each piece includes a tag to the verso from Rudolph Lesch Fine Arts.
Born in Toronto, Bradford was raised in Los Angeles. He used the G.I. Bill to study at the Chouinard and Jepson Art Institutes in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Art Institute. In the 1950s he was a founding member of the Western Serigraph Institute, and his work has been shown nationally in both group and solo exhibitions.

- to fair; discoloration and toning present to prints and mat boards; smudges and marks throughout matting, with wear and creasing to edges and corners; works are unframed.
