Chinese "Wan Shou Wu Jiang" Enameled Tableware
Item Details
A thirteen piece selection of Chinese Wan Shou Wu Jiang enameled tableware. It includes a ginger jar, two bowls, four spoons, two sets of salt and pepper shakers, and two lidded mugs. Each piece displays a polychrome enameled design of floral and foliate motifs accented with leiwen scroll bands in hues of red, yellow, and blue. The larger pieces have the characters ‘Wan’ (萬), ‘Shou’ (壽), ‘Wu’ (無) and ‘Jiang’ (疆), meaning ‘boundless longevity’. They bear a mark reading ‘Made in China’ in both Chinese and English to the undersides.
