A pair of chromolithographs on paper, dated to the late 19th century. Each depicts a young child in colorful late Victorian-era clothing. To the lower right corner of the child with a doll is the in-plate copyright information, ‘1893 / by McLoughlin Bros. / New York.’ Both prints are presented in wood and gilt circular frames under antique glass.
Condition
- minor scuffing and loss of gilt to areas of the wooden frames; small imperfections in the antique glass; white the frames and glass are antique, the paper backings for both are dated to the 20th century.
Dimensions
- measures frame; sight size 8.5" W x 8.5" H; frame and sight size is approximately the same for both works.
