A United States Army and Air Forces ‘Sister Sweetheart’ themed pillow sham, circa 1940s. The sham includes a poem at the center, reading, ‘Sister/ Of all the girls/ I ever knew,/ There never was/ one like you./ You’re the nearest,/ You’re the dearest,/ Pal I ever know.’ The item is presented in a black metal plastic frame under acrylic glass.

Condition

- minor scuffing to the metal finish on the frame; minor discoloration to the pillow sham in the lightest colored areas.
