A Japanese red lacquered wood writing box. The piece features a central design on the lid with a woodblock inspired composition and a red-crowned crane. Inside the box is a small tray and flat wood panel.
Condition
- to fair; cracks in the lacquered wood veneer along the sides; crack along the side of the lid and the underside of the box.
