A collection of circa 1950s silver gelatin negatives depicting mid-century train imagery. Featured are images of various commercial train cars; railroads include Englewood, Pennsylvania, Chicago and more. The items are presented in individually labeled paper sleeves with pertinent information about the sightings.
These negatives were used as resource, reference or publication in Extra 2200 South, a well-respected rail fan magazine published by the Dovers from 1968 into the early 1990s.
Condition
- to fair; edge wear and toning with age; small tears to edges of some items; prints are protected in paper sleeves; yellowing and wear to sleeves.
