A sterling silver flatware set by International Silver Co. This is in the Lillian V.M. Helander designed Spring Glory pattern, first introduced in 1942, which features a flared handle that has an acanthus leaf and flower designed tip with openwork accent. The fifty-four piece set includes eight dinner forks, five butter spreaders, seven salad forks, four soup spoons, fourteen teaspoons, an infant feeding spoon, a youth fork, a pickle fork, two serving spoons, a sugar spoon, and a ladle, all marked ‘International Sterling’ to the backs of the handles. They are presented with seven dinner knives, youth knife, and a pie server that have stainless blades and sterling hollow handles. The total approximate weight, excluding dinner knives and pie server with stainless blades, is 52.865 ozt.
