A selection of Japanese porcelain pieces. The assortment includes a with a depiction of a pagoda based upon Chokin art associated with engravings gilded with gold and silver and used to decorate Samurai armament. This plate has an explanation of the origins of Chokin on the back. Also included is a plate with a scalloped edge. A design of bright blossoms has been painted by hand and accented in gold. It is marked in red characters on the underside. An Imari vase decorated in red, green, and blue with gold tone accents features panels infilled with bids and flowering plants. It is marked ‘Imari Gold/Handpainted’ on the bottom.
