Antique Chinese Wooden Bucket
Item Details
An antique Chinese wooden bucket. The eight-panel bucket a has a veneer covering with cast iron hoop fasteners and a removable ornately carved cartouche handle. The lid is decorated with two dragons with a pearl head between their mouth. The remnant of a label on the underside of the lid has Chinese markings.
Condition
- markings, scratches are wear thought, label is torn and half missing, sidebands are loose and unattached in spots, veneer is missing in places, lid and cartouche are split and dis-attached.
