A signed Chinese handbuilt redware cabinet teapot. Featured is a footed rectangular teapot with the shape of a traditional jewelry box with applied sprig decoration. It has a metal swing handle and a square lid with a shaped round pull to top, an applied spout to the side, faux double doors with a handle to front, and a working storage drawer to the lower portion.It is marked to verso and to the underside.
