A fine pair of ebonized bronze and wood Blackamoor figural bookends, late 19th century. The pieces are composed of bronze figures on wood plinths in a dark finish and illustrate a kneeling figure with hands held over and behind then to support books.

- chipping and heavy wear to wooden bases.
