Converted French Baroque Candelabrum Table Lamp

A converted French Baroque brass candelabrum table lamp. The converted brass base has four elaborately embellished curved arms supporting candle sconces with floral bobeches, with branching leaf forms extending from the stem. The central stem terminates at the top with a single electric light socket having a rotary switch and brass harp, which has a carved chinoiserie finial. The lower portion of the stem is a decorated urn form with reticulated handles to each side, resting on a domed, square base with egg and dart detailing and lion’s head bust to one side. It has a push-button switch for the light and rests on raised paw feet. It has an aubergine fabric modified bell shade with gold trim. Unlabeled.
