A collection of vintage postcards, Valentines, and bookmarks. This lot features a collection of postcards from sites including Atlantic City, Coney Island, Disney World, Missouri, San Francisco, and more, and depicting subjects such as Thomas Jefferson, the Orange Bowl, the Golden Gate Bridge, a Northern Plains Native American in full headdress, the giant typewriter at the 1940 New York Worlds Fair, Judge Roy Bean’s saloon, and the outlaw gang of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, along with a collection of Valentines and a punched train ticket. Also included is a collection of programs, prints, and bookmarks with illustrations by Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha (Czech, 1860-1939).

Condition

- some written correspondence to backs of postcards; some cards have scratches and/or edge wear; some postcards have stickers which may or may not be affixed to plastic sleeves.
