A pair of mixed media portraits on canvas by an artist named Vassini. This pair includes two abstracted portraits of a young girl and boy and each painting is composed of impasto oil medium layered over watercolor. Each painting is signed by hand to the lower right corners and is housed in a black wooden frame.

Condition

-scattered craquelure and smudging present to top portion of boy portrait, mainly noticeable to face; stretcher marks to left and right sides of boy portrait; hole to canvas at center of girl portrait; pen mark to girl painting inside figure’s arm; small markings, abrasions and smudges scattered throughout both paintings, especially to edges; wear to frames with scratches, nicks, scuffs and edge wear; light dust and accretion to frames and paintings; dust and discoloration to each canvas verso; frame joints are not fully flush; no backing paper present.
