Item Details
An elegant semi-antique Russian Aubusson wool area rug. The rug has been handcrafted using yarns in a palette of olive, sage, fawn, rose, pink, coral buff, umber, wine, and chocolate. The large rug features a camel field populated by sprays of flowers and foliage placed in rows. The border incorporates narrow guard bands and stylized palmettes alternating with flowers with scrolling foliage. The outermost bands include barber pole stripes, combs, and arches. The selvedges and ends of the rug have been turned under and finished. Unlabeled.
