Item Details
An extra long hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bokhara-style palace or stair runner. This wool rug offers a repeat pattern with cruciform guls and motifs in white and black over a deep scarlet red field. It is framed with zig-zag borders which flank a main border of alternating red a white flower heads. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with a kilim skirt and ivory wool fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
