Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish Konya carpet runner. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of camel, lilac-gray, cinnamon, mossy-taupe, charcoal and watermelon. The field is patterned with four pole hooked medallions infilled with Lesghi stars and framed with geometric shapes, S filler motifs, lobed flowers and barber pole patterns. Flanking each medallion are quatrefoil boteh florets in camel and black. Framing the field are diamond edge barber pole and tulip meander guard borders along with a primary border boasting quatrefoil florets and floral diamond pendants. To one short side is a panel with rectilinear filled gables in the field colors. Selvedges are double overcast, finished with extremely short fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
