Antique English Japonesque Majolica Plate

Item Details

An antique English majolica plate. This earthenware piece is in the Japonesque style, showing a white textured ground with blue fans, hummingbirds and cherry blossoms to the rim and verge. This plate was likely made by Trim, Shorter and Boulton circa 1880 and is marked with three black dots to the underside.
