A circa 1970s limited edition lithograph on paper by listed artist Yanni Posnakoff (Greek, born 1933). The work depicts a colorful portrait of a woman standing with two children in a garden-like setting. An anthropomorphized sun with glasses and a mustache shines overhead, with an assortment of trees, butterflies and flowers set to the edges of the composition. The work is signed ‘Posnakoff’ in graphite to lower right and numbered to the lower left as 137 out of an edition of 250. It is triple-matted and presented under glass in a composite frame. Condition
- to fair; buckling to paper underneath matting; faint discoloration and toning to paper; scuffs, nicks and edge wear to frame; small amount of debris under glass; nicks and wear to interior edges of mat boards; dust and adhesive residue to frame glass; tears and adhesive residue to frame backing; no hanging hardware present.
