19th Century Arsenal Pottery Majolica Blackberry Pattern Plate

Item Details

An antique majolica plate attributed to Arsenal Pottery of Trenton, New Jersey. This piece is relief molded with a blackberry branch on a basketweave ground. It is sponged with brown, magenta, indigo, and teal and finished with brown to the base. The piece bears no discernible maker’s marks, consistent with items dated to the late 19th century.
