A set of sterling silver flatware by International Silver Co. This is in the Alfred G. Kintz designed Riviera pattern, first introduced in 1936, which features a slightly flared handle with floral accents and a shell tip. The fifty-four piece set includes twelve dinner forks, six large soup spoons, five small soup spoons, nine salad forks, nine teaspoons, and a meat fork. They are presented with nine dinner knives, a cake server, and a carving fork and knife set that have stainless elements and sterling hollow handles. Each piece is marked ‘Sterling’ alongside a maker’s mark to its handle. Also included is a cake server in a different pattern with a marked sterling hollow handle and a stainless blade. The total approximate weight, excluding dinner knives, carving fork and knife, and cake servers with stainless elements, is 62.550 ozt.
