A late 20th-century cast brass sculpture by an anonymous artist. The piece depicts a boy in 18th century attire standing and aiming a slingshot with both hands. The figure rests on a rounded black marble base. No signatures or maker’s marks were found.

Item tested as 55.54% copper, 38.13% Zinc, 2.67% lead, 1.37% tungsten and 1.07% tin.

Condition

- scratches, marks and chips throughout object and base; work was previously gilt, but most has been worn away.
