Item Details

A vintage French Provincial secretary from Rapport by Drexel, circa 1960s. The secretary is constructed of wood and finished with white paint, accented with gold painted edges. It has an arched, molded top above a cabinet containing two wood shelves. The cabinet rests on the secretary, which has a slanted, hinged wood front, which folds down and rests on pull-out arms, located to either side of a shallow drawer. The interior of the desk is fitted with seven divided compartments, and the drawers and cabinet have brass tone metal knobs. The secretary rests on curved legs, and the maker’s mark is present to the back.
