Antique Schramberg, Villeroy & Boch Majolica Daisy Plate

Item Details

An antique majolica plate from Schramberg, Villeroy & Boch. This earthenware piece shows a shaped form with a pierced rim. It has a raised daisy design to the well with leaves radiating to a border of pink daisies at the rim, all on a turquoise blue ground. It is impressed with a maker’s mark to the underside as well as the impressed numbers ‘1175 7’ and dates to approximately 1900.

- faint surface marks; crazing/glaze cracks.
