A spelter and brass Black Forest figural quartz mantel clock. The clock features a German Black Forest style with a metal figure of a boy and a horse with a lacquered brass finish. The figures stand on the side of a chalet with embossed foliate accents and a tree backdrop. Other features of the clock include a metal case with a chalet that encases an ornate clock with a brass bezel and a gold-toned face with an etched floral design surrounded by raised white hour markers with black Roman numerals. The clock features black hands and a glass front door with a decorative brass frame and stands on an ornate oblong base with embossed scrollwork, floral and decorative designs with scrollwork and acanthus leaves in relief, and tapered feet. The clock has a quartz movement and chimes and there are no apparent makers marks.
