A bronze sculpture of horses after well-listed French artist Pierre-Jules Mêne (1810 – 1879). This naturalistic piece presents two horses standing with their necks crossed on a textured ovular base. It is signed in mold to the base, which is mounted on marble.
Condition
- scuffing, scratches and nicks to sculpture and base; chip and long scratch to right side of marble base.
